In NURTURE, from Sasha Argirov (PERSONALS), we are thrust into the toxic home environment of an emotionally stunted son and a narcissistic mother teetering on the edge of sanity. When an unexpected visitor arrives on their doorstep, dark urges awaken within the son that pushes him over the edge. NURTURE is quite a disturbed representation of trauma derived from toxic familial relationships. Heightened by the monochrome landscape, this film is sure to leave you with a pit in your stomach and in desperate need of a shower. – Vincenzo Nappi
